Terms and Conditions

Minimum Order Quantity
As we are furniture and handicraft designers, manufacturers and exporters, we sell to anyone who requests them. Our minimum order quantity is a 20ft container. You have the ability to mix your furniture purchases across all our ranges and we do not have a minimum order quantity per piece of furniture.

FOB Price
All the prices quoted for our furniture products are quoted FOB in USD. This price includes all single-phase cardboard packing, Indonesian government paperwork, local taxes, FLEGT certification, and internal trucking to Semarang port. Any additional charges like fumigation, ocean freight, THC and additional special destination country certification are borne by the customer.

Samples
We are happy to produce samples of your furniture designs. We request that you provide us with detailed drawings and specifications in metric measurements. If you are only supplying a photo, we still require specifications. All samples are produced at the customer’s cost, as are the transportation/shipping costs. These sample requests are payable in full at the time of order.

Quality
Kiln Dried Wood Guarantee The moisture content of our Wooden Furniture is:

a. 1-2 cm thickness MC 12%-15%
b. 3-4 cm thickness MC 16%-18%
c. 5 cm thickness and up MC 19%-20%

Fabrics:
We use a variety of fabrics and all our furniture when priced uses a medium price hard wearing fabric. Fabric selections in Indonesia for high-class imported fabrics are very expensive due to import duties. If you do wish to have your furniture quoted in these fabrics, please inform us at the time of order. We Quality Control every stage of the production process thus ensuring a good quality furniture product.

Refunds
60-day replacement or money-back guarantee against damaged items caused by manufacturer’s defects. Definition of manufacturer defect: a structural defect that makes the piece of furniture unusable for the purpose it was designed. We endeavour to display as accurately as possible the true colours of our products.

Production Time
Our normal production time is 10-12 weeks for 20ft and 40ft containers. However, larger project work for hotels and resorts expects a production time of around 16 weeks. Please remember that all our furniture is made by hand and not produced by machine hence these timelines.

Shipping
We have long-standing relationships with shipping companies in Indonesia and can guarantee a smooth and troublefree purchasing experience. We send out quotes and then pass the best quote on to you for your approval. We do not make any money from shipping as we are not in the shipping business, we offer this service to you as an additional service.

Measurements
As our furniture is handmade in different regencies across Java, the dimensions quoted in our catalogue are approximate and may differ from piece to piece, even on a similar product. Our dimensions are as follows – Height x Length x Depth in centimetres. VOLUME (cubic meters) – Our quote will give you an approximate guide to the total amount of cubic meters you have requested prices on.

Payment Terms
At least a 50% deposit must be paid by the buyer upon acceptance of the proforma invoice. Production will commence once funds are received in our bank account. We will confirm receipt of your deposit at this time. One week before your order is ready to ship, we will send the final residual invoice for payment. Final payment must be completed within two days of receipt of the final invoice. We do not accept 100% Irrevocable L/C at sight for payment

Warranty Table
The warranty covers 1 year of complete guarantee on new products. This warranty is non-transferable and includes all provisions as stated in our specified user guidelines. All other provisions than those specified by us, are not guaranteed. The guarantee covers repair requests of construction and production faults. 0-1 Years of usage – 0% own contributions 2-5 Years of usage – You might be asked for a financial contribution for replacement and/or repair. Costs will be communicated in advanced.

Exclusions & Limitations
This guarantee does not cover:

  • Normal and natural wear and tear
  • Wear and tear of wheels and caps
  • Wear and tear caused by improper and excessive use and abuse
  • Damage caused by normal and natural wear and tear
  • Improper assembly of servicing by unqualified persons
  • Improper or project-based use of furniture intended for private use
  • Exposure of product to undesired heat, moisture, liquids and cleaning products
  • Discolouration caused by (sun)light
  • Damage caused by sharp, hot, or damp objects
  • Environmental influences like undesirable levels of dryness, humidity, light and temperature.
  • Vandalism, theft, abuse and damage caused by impacts or accidents
  • Damage and stains caused by pets, heat sources, and mould caused by moisture (mildew)
  • Stains caused by bodily fluids, body and hair care products
  • Discolouration caused by medicine use (chemical reaction)
  • Any changes caused by products containing acids or alcohol, as well as solvents
  • Unauthorised attempts to clean, repair or modify product
  • Spots and rings caused by unremoved water, moisture and condensation
  • Specific characteristics of product and material that are not covered by the guarantee
  • Poor maintenance
